JBT Marine are going Ballistic at Cowdray Park Polo
We, JBT Marine, are taking our Ballistic RIBs to the Verve Clicquet Cowdray Park Gold Cup Polo Final again this year. We have enjoyed the event so much that we have decided to go again making this the 4th year exhibiting at Cowdray Park. The final this year is on Sunday 20th July.
Each year we have taken a 5.5m, 6.5m and 7.8m Ballistic – all of which have been very popular and this year will be no exception. The boats are all on trailers but we have steps so you can get onto the boats and have a look around. We don’t even ask you to take your shoes off – unless they are high heels.
The Polo final day is well worth a visit. The Polo matches (there are two) are great to watch and the commentator is absolutely hilarious. We don’t really understand the game of Polo but it is fascinating to watch and the horses are beautiful. There are also lots of stalls where you can buy anything from a cup of coffee to garden furniture. Ladies, great shopping!
If you do come for the day then make sure you arrive nice and early to get a good picnic spot. Also bring a pop-up gazebo, if you have one, the weather has been great each year (sun burn weather) and you will need some shade. Don’t forget to get your ‘champs’ hats on to as there is lots of Verve Clicquot flowing!
If you do decide to come you won’t be disappointed. It is a nice day out, even if you don’t watch the polo and just enjoy the sun and a yummy picnic. If you do decide to come make sure you come and say hello – you can’t miss us.
